The Grove City YMCA is fortunate to begin a large scale capital improvement project of our pool to ensure that it is protected and able to continue to serve our community for years to come. Work being completed on the pool includes:
– A new dehumidification unit
– Grouting the pool surface
– Two coats of epoxy paint on the ceiling and walls of the pool
On Monday, April 10, 2023 the pool will close for the improvement project. Construction is anticipated to take 4 weeks, with the pool tentatively set to reopen Wednesday, May 10.
As a result, there may be a smell of epoxy paint in some areas of the building. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The paint company will be setting up proper ventilation to minimize the odor as much as possible. Additionally, construction noise may be present during this time.
