This is an ideal class for active older adults. Meet new friends and have fun while exercising to the music that you love. This class will improve cardiovascular health, muscular strength, and flexibility.

MBA (Moving Beyond Ability)

This program is specifically designed for individuals with movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, and Multiple Sclerosis.  In order to enhance quality of life, exercise is ESSENTIAL.  We incorporate fun, engaging activities in our program to make it enjoyable and to promote exercise adherence. Being in a program with others who are experiencing similar challenges promotes a positive, supportive experience that meets emotional and socialization needs as well as physical needs.

Program Goals:

  • Prevent and/or delay deterioration of mobility and functionality in individuals with movement disorders.
  • Optimize physical fitness in individuals who may have unique physical challenges.
  • Provide support to individuals and their families or caregivers through social and educational sessions.

Multi-Level Yoga

Tracey Pettit is a certified yoga teacher. Each session will focus on mind/body wellness and personal transformation. Participants will learn postures to increase strength and flexibility, breath-work to relax the heart and circulatory system, and relaxation techniques to quiet the mind and soothe the spirit. Yoga benefits the fitness enthusiast as well as individuals with physical challenges. Students will learn to listen to their bodies and respect its limitations.

Pound Fit

Using lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, Pound transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.

Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates inspired movements.

Designed for all fitness levels, Pound provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up, and rockin' out! The workout is easily  modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities.

Pump it Up

This is a mix of strength training exercises that will tone, strengthen, and increase muscle endurance by using weight resistance exercise. Focus will be put on core strengthening and joint stabilization training as well.

R.I.P.P.E.D.

This 50 minuite class is a series of high-intensity segments designed to burn calories and tone the body using resistance, intervals, power, plyometric, endurance, and diet. It is sure to challenge and invigorate your current fitness routine.

Silver Sneakers Yoga

Silver Sneakers Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses.  Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.  Restorative breathing exercised and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

SilverSneakers® Classic

The Silver Sneakers Fitness program is designed to encourage Medicare eligible members to increase their physical activity. Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a small ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support. Each qualifying member is entitled to a membership at our facility. This full membership includes social activities, classes, fitness center, indoor track, swimming pool, therapeutic pool; as well as guidance from our qualified instructors and Senior Advisor.
